I actually saw this fault happen on a jeep one evening a while back and I just thought it was a strange "feature"

I've been hyperstalking my SRT on its shipping route. It's gonna be dropping by NZ tomorrow, then Brissy before landing in Port Kembla on the 5th. I just hope the dealer doesn't forget to put my personalized plates on!

On my 2012 300 SRT8 the DRL's always turned off when indicating, I thought it was a legal requirement, I'll check the new one during the day.

Jason the set up of the shortcut buttons on my uconnect system was always like this in may car ever since I purchased my 2015 SRT. Be interesting to see how the set up in your car differs?

I will have to check my DRL's now mention this. Wait to receive a recall letter from FCA if a problem. My 2013 Chrysler SRT 8 did this as well and I thought is was normal.

Hey Dave,
I looked in the book, under the app screen you can drag and drop to the bottom row of icons, it's a bit hit and miss though. I managed to get the Nav shortcut down there but tried to get rid of the screen off button but couldn't manage to get it to work.2015 Chrysler SRT-imageuploadedbyag-free1454135304.072327.jpg

Confirmed the DRL's stay on now when the blinkers are on, the blinkers also flash on the side markers front and back.

Dave,

Do you have Siri on yours? I played with it this morning but Siri seems to keep listening after you have finished telling it something.
Do you get text messages? Just wondering if this is another feature we don't get down under.
I have also noticed the doors don't lock when you take off, found a option saying unlock on exit or something like that but doesn't do anything if ticked or not.

Jason,

Found this link with a video explaning some of the new features for the 2016 U connect system. Looks like you should be able to use siri features through connecting your I phone to the u connect system. Do you have the latest I phone with siri? Looked up the Apple IOS9 phone and that appers to have siri so should work with U-Connect should be able to use siri. I don't have this feature as i have a motarolla phone. I will have to look up the door lookig feature on my u connect will let you know how that gose on my car. How are you finding your 2015 SRT so far? Mine has been great so far no problems.

Hope the link below helps.

If it's anything like the earlier models the auto door lock might need a dealer visit to enable. Easy enough to just tell them to do it if you get it serviced there, they shouldn't charge for that.

Thanks for your comments guys,
I figured the Siri thing out, just need to press and hold the middle voice command button (not phone button) and it activates but it seems to keep listening well after you have stopped giving the command.

I'm loving it, can't wait to break it in a bit more and unleash it. I'll test the adaptive cruise down to a stop on the way to work tomorrow. Really happy to see the remote start feature. The sound system is great, a lot more bass than the previous model, seem to be having a issue with it fading out on the right side of the car though. The seats also hug you more.

I think I've been through it a dozen times and can't find anything about locking, only unlocking. I'll have to ask the dealer.

I have a MY14 SRT8 and my DRLs turn off on the side I'm indicating. I always thought it was a safety feature that allows the indicator to be seen more clearly. If it's a recall on the 2015 model, why is there no recall on the earlier models that do this?

The lighting has changed a bit so I suspect that has something to do with it, the side marker lights (front & rear guards) flash with the blinkers along with the side mirrors which have LED's across the bottom.
I have seen other cars DRL's also turn off when the blinkers are on.

I suspect the software is glitchy because when the headlights are on auto the DRL's turn off and you can't turn them on, pressing the headlight switch doesn't do anything in auto but if you turn it over to parkers it all works, when the headlight are on the DRL's also come on.

I have no idea how to activate the strip DRL's next to the spot lights, my 2012 had the option to turn the DRL's on or off in Uconnect but I'm stuffed if I can find those options in this on.
