newbie, great car! not so good dealer experience

hi people, just picked up my my13 SRT8 a couple weeks back, great car and loving it every drive, my previous ride was an 05 HSV Senator, great car too but loving the mod cons of the 300. I got the SRT from Brighton Chrysler Jeep in Melbourne and as I'm from Tassie I had to fly over and bring the car back by boat the same day. I had seen photos of the vehicle, and at 16800 km's looked new as expected. When I got to the dealer they had the car parked showing the drivers side when you approached, and to be honest it wasn't that clean, my 10 year old Senator, which is black also would have looked like the newer car parked side by side, any how I had a quick look around the vehicle, and I mean about a minute and was brushed into see the finance guy and started sorting the paperwork out, I actually thought we would come back and go for a drive and check it out a bit, even tho I already had all intentions of buying the vehicle, I had before we left the office. When we came back the vehicle had been turned around so you seen the drivers side when you approached, 5 minutes later after the sales guy went over a few things I was off too the boat. In hindsight I should have pulled the reigns on the sales guy and checked the vehicle a bit more, what was with the big rush? Long story short the RHR guard has been slightly rubbed against something and touched up with paint, it is hard to notice and it wasn't until I washed and chamiosed the car that I noticed it, either way I still would have purchased the car, but I just expected a bit better from an authorized Chrysler Dealer, stupid me , anyway apart from that the car is awesome, I gave it a proper detail and it's looking like a new car should now !

ps hope i've posted this in the right spot !

Welcome to the party.

Yep; great product, but the only thing left broken @ Dodge is the dealerships themselves.

Congrats and great looking car! I feel ya though. Can't say I've never been excited and so worked up about getting something that I did or didn't do things I later regretted. However, I'd have at least driven back and gave them a "fine how do you do" about ethics and that I'd be spreading the word about their practices.

But then, I have issues.

Thanks, must say I love the car more every time I drive it, wish I could go back to the dealership just to see them squirm, unfortunately there is 100 miles of water between us :/

Welcome. I'm sure one day we'll hear a good story about a dealer.
I won't bother mentioning out Australian section on here cause it's gone embarrassingly quiet.

I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather.. Not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car.
