Everything I write is true, I have a lot of wins and some losses all on the streets so here we go, I have no reason to lie or exaggerate, I don't know any of you people.
Wins - on highway destroyed a c5 corvette, this vette didn't stand a chance, to be honest wasn't even close.
On highway beat a 2012 mustang 5.0, was a fun race, closer than vette but my car at the time was bone stock, mods on mustang were unknown if any.
On highway destroyed Camaro ss, we all know that these cars don't stand a chance.
On highway beat an older jeep srt8 respectfully (prior to mods)
Other insignificant beats on highways include; older Camaro ss, Pontiac g8, Pontiac gtp, tayras sho, and a Pontiac GTO.
From dead stops at lights in city, I've took down a 2012 corvette grand sport (inexperienced driver a lot of wheel spin) my car was bone stock at time.
From dead stop beat a 2012 cadillac cts-v good race but our cars are faster in the city, have yet to catch one on the roll.
I have no lost any races from dead stop but on highway I have lost 2 races, I lost to the same Porsche panamara turbo that I beat from a dead stop, we were going from 70 and his car kept inching mine until it was in front of my car, we were doing 160 but there is no doubt his car was faster, I had all mods except exhaust when I lost this race.
I also lost to a 2012 corvette zr1 but surprisingly it was horrible, it wasn't great either but the corvette really respected that my car stood up with the fact that his car costs 70k more.
This is my first post, so please please please excuse my FLAME. Great kills, till you mention the CTS-V coupe. We all know anything can happen on the street, but i have three close close friends that have 2012 300 SRT8s. I love them and even thought about purchasing one. I have raced two of the three on the street and at Cecil county raceway and put bus lenghts on both. One of my friends is bone stock and ran 12.8 @108 to my consistant 11.93 @118. The other day my other buddy wanted to see where he stood since his cold air and I think Trinty tune (some sort of hand held), I beat him by 4 1/2 cars from a dig twice. A roll was uglier. I have a bone stock 2011 V sedan. I think you beat the driver! The two cars are not a driver's race. The V has 90 hp more and maybe a 100 pounds lighter than the 300. Go to CTSVowners.com and look at stock times. I have a 2.38 pulley and other bolt-ons waiting for this spring. Looking to run high 10s. Go to Cadillacforums.com under CTS-V and I am "Fatman" there as well. My time slip is posted.
I just don't want people to be mis-informed. The new 6.2 supercharged SRT-8 version due out next summer will be a monster. Sorry for the long post.

Hey fatman, let me clarify something regarding my beats, I didn't say I beat your little, tiny car on the highway nor did I say I beat your rollarskate sized vehicle in a quarter mile, all I said was that I beat your wife's car from light to light, I understand its slimmer and has more horsepower but maybe it was her time of the month or something, also with the times you posted your car is faster than mine for sure, but those times have never been claimed by the people at cadillac, maybe your car is just special. Also, here's a video from YouTube, check it out, I didn't notice any wheel spin at all so all this driver had to do was push the gas and yet this is what happens, how can u explain this, if these cars normally ran an 11.8 stock than why is the normal 12.5 stock Srt beating it? I respect your little coupe but for 10 to 20 grand less you coulda got a mans car... Btw, I'm assuming since your name is fatman that your really, really, really skinny, otherwise you wouldn't be able the get into that tiny machine?

I don't normally jump into these things, but I will make an exception. Please keep personal attacks out of this. We can bench/street race and talk all the crap we want-but insults will not be tolerated!
Fact of the matter is in regards to the V and the SRT-both are great and fast cars. Period. I've had the last generation V see my cars rear, but have not been able to get the few new ones I see to bite when the road allows it. Best time I've seen at the track was a 12.4 at I believe was 116. Was not the best day so I'm sure they might run better.
Anyway......
i have yet to find any good cars to race, had a sc Monte Carlo race me idk if id even call it a race lol & a few gt mustangs is about it hopefully this summer i can find some decent cars to run
Didn't make a personal attack, just felt that a cts-v coupe is a girls car and since its sooooo fast but lost it must be that time of the month for the car since its a girls car, it wasn't an actual attack on fatmans wife, I don't know her if he's married, it was a playful referring to his girly car, sorry if there was any confusion.

How does your magniflow sound?? and has it set off any check engine lights? can you post a vid of some reving or a fly by.. i want to get exhaust but im picky with the exhaust note.. THANKS!!
Yea, it's snowing here in Detroit so no fly bus today but I will get one together for you, I'm very impressed with the sound, it's not crazy loud but it just right to let people know that this ain't a regular sedan. Also it did set off a check engine light for the first 2 days but then it went away and never came back, I'm thinking the system got used to it.

Sorry if I got your panties in a bunch for you to attack me personally. No, I'm not fat, or skinny. Family nick name: actually when I need to make weight, I'm 225, when just walking around I'm 5'11 240. I did not intend to attack the SRT8. I love the car and am a car enthuses. There is nothing negative about the SRT8, again, I think they are roomy powerful machines and love the fact that American automakers are building these cars for us to enjoy and battle against. I never said the NORM was 11.8. I run 11.9s and no not the norm, but Vs usually run 12.0s-12.4s depending on condition and elevation. (When did stock 300s begin to run 12.5s bone stock?!!!) You said it. The fastest I heard was 12.6 and thats here, which is totally believable, with conditions.
If you read my post, you would see I have a SEDAN. not a coupe, although I like the coupe and wagon. 2nd, the video you posted were two cars that ran high 14s in 5200 elevation: Really? All the post on youtube and thats the best you came up with? As mentioned, my friend's went 12.8 @108 bone stock. (Where do bone stock 300s run 12.5s?) I was highly impressed! 3rd, I also have an 08 auto C6. You mentioned you beat a BAD DRIVER Grand Sport. Again, anything is possible, but my header, tune, cai, C6 runs 11.6s @120-121.
The only reason I purchased the CTS-V was for the ability to mod. I use to have an 86 Grand National and the V reminds me of how fast they can be using forced Induction. I am not a contentious person and don't belive in arguing over bench racing. I use to make tons of money off guys like you who think one way and believe their car is the fastest based off a youtube mishap. I am still considering purchasing an SRT8 maybe another Jeep. Sorry for making you upset, my fighting days are over
I was only trying to be funny, for some reason I thought you had a coupe, my mistake, I like the four door cts-v, and I think GM did their thing performance wise when they came out with the v series, what you don't know is I have one of only 3 built cadillac DTS-V series, comes equipped with brembo brakes, AWD, it's supercharged but not with the 550 you have it's the older system off the 2009's, so I respect cadillac just hate that little coupe , I am sorry if u felt like I was attacking you, just screwing around with the Srt vs v series war. One thing that caught my attention in your post was that you said that u bought the v series because of the mod builds, but as I'm probably sure you know the really only mod u can do is a pulley system, that will give you a nice gain but that about caps it off, anything else except maybe a tune will be a waste of money. A pulley on that monster will shut almost anything down on the streets or the track. Here's a pic of the DTS-V it only has 42k on it, it was a PEP car designed by GM but never went into production, it was he'll to get street legal, it's not crazy fast but it's fun.
