Honestly it's not so fast, it's to big and not well balanced, l have beaten some rt challengers/chargers but got embarressed by an 07' jeep Srt, a 5.0 mustang, a newer Camaro ss, so basically it's nice to look at but way too much weight and body roll. Add the fact that I put on 22" custom rims probably doesn't help much either.

As soon as the weather clears here in Detroit I will pull her out and do a walk around and drive by, one thing about this is the sound, GM put such an amazing sound on this car I was blown away to see it was a factory set up.

That's pretty cool. Please do a 360' walkaround, show the interior, the engine, the engine sound and possibly a 0-60 on a public road once the road clears. Hopefully you have an iphone with imovie - or an ipod touch with imovie.

The interior is slight different than a platinum series dts, it has a black suede headliner, never offered in any production dts, at least not in black, the moonroof in this car is bigger than any dts out there, a real light burl Woodgrain, wish they would have used carbon fiber instead, drilled and slotted disc brakes with brembo calipers, black lacquered under the hood to give a cleaner look

Hopefully you still have the stock wheels.

Did they even have Carbon Fiber available back then???

I'm not sure if the older v-series had carbon fiber in them but I seen it on the newer ones when I was deciding between the Chrysler and the cadillac, as far as the factory wheels go, I still have them just don't really care for the too much, they don't do the car much justice, but I will eventually sell or trade it so I know I need them, I am looking for grand cherokee srt8 a 2010 or less, always loved those and would work out a trade if the jeep is took care of.

What would you be looking for for the DTS and its stock wheels?

That's the problem, there's not a real blue book for these cars, I found the other guy who has one in California and he said he was offered 50k for his, to be honest I didn't pay anything near that much, I got it from a GM charity auction, don't really want to sell for money but really want to trade for another machine, I got a collection of cars and I like to trade, I'm in the market for a 2009/2010 jeep srt8 in good shape. I'd consider ur monster, lol

My friends Diamond White 2012 CTS-V auto turned 12.48@114 with 1700 miles on it at Bandimere Speedway 6000ft elev. He ran the car 5 times first time ever on a drag strip. Now a N/A car will pick up almost a solid second at sea level and a supercharged car at least half a second. I have no problem believen a bone stock CTS-V could turn 11.9x those cars are beasts!
