It is a beautiful design - and really negates the need to replace shorties for aftermarket long tube headers - as the gain will not be great . . .

The 4 into 1 collector helps with exhaust scavenging and exhaust system packaging. They did a nice job with the stock setup.

nice pics and good job chrysler, had to cost more to maunfacture. I bet we do get a good response with an improved cat. I am guessing there is 1 cat per manifold??

Yes. The cats are usually right after the collector or not far from it.
