Black Vapor Chrome Question..........

Does anyone have a sense for how durable the Black Chrome would be in this crappy Pennsylvania weather? Also, would anyone happen to have any idea of what kind of warranty the wheels would have on them that may be different than the 3/36?

No difference in the warranty and the black chrome will hold up as well as any other chrome will. Which means if they salt the roads or use some other material during freezing conditions, the chrome will be subjected to corrosion. You'll just have to keep them clean.

A warning comes in the form of a sticker on the owners manual stating to only use warm soapy water to clean them, and not to use any chemicals as it can damage the finish and void the warranty on them. They clean up so nice though! Like Maddog said, the finish is like any other wheel finish....just keep em clean! They tens...I keep em clean though!

The finish should be treated like paint - not chrome. Don't use brushes or scrubbies on the wheels. Like the owners manual says, soap and water. I personally only clean mine with quick detail spray and micro fiber towels. Put some wax on them and it will help protect the finish as well as make them easier to clean.

Good point! I too use a microfiber Mitt to clean the wheels. Stay away from brushes, or anything with a coarse bristle. A cotton towel is good, a sponge, or Microfiber works best.
