Diablo I-1000-DCX inTune/ Borla exhaust Questions

I was wondering if anyone out there has the new diablo intune for the II Gen 300 srt8. what performance gains have you seen from it, and was it used with any other bolt ons, i.e intake, exhaust? curious if its worth the $$$. Also wondering if anyone has the Borla ATAK exhaust for out beasts? How is the sound and performance. any issues throwing codes for intune or exhaust? If anyone else has experience from other exhaust set ups I would like to hear how they turned out, Thanks

I had a 2010 jeep srt8 and just traded it in for a 12 300 srt8, and I love it. I had the borla s with the predator on the jeep and noticed a huge increase in performance, just wondering if its worth dropping the money on these mods on the 300 ,or are these new 6.4's tuned enough from factory?

Welcome from Rochester,NY!

I hope one of our members with a gen 2 can help answer your questions better. I do think I heard diablosport is still working the kinks out on the new tuner. Good luck with your search!

From what I hear, the gains for an SRT are not as apparent as with the 5.7. That being said, it is still a useful tool to program stuff like the fan setting if you have a lower tstat.

Intake, exhaust and programming will benefit any vehicle and in my book worth the money. The initial addition of intake, exhaust and programmer made a difference in my car but the real increase came with the CMR tune.

I just tried to contact them all and only one got back to me. I am going with a Johan email tune due to the fact the only tuner who responded was Kennedy's dynotune on Niagara falls blvd in buffalo. $155 an hour and it requires a bung in the exhaust that cost an additional 65 bucks. Seeing how I've never heard of this guy I passed.

A CMR tune is a custom tune specifically for your car in the location you are at. How it works is you put the car on a dyno and pull a baseline. Email the file to Johan and he will adjust based on the results. Get a new tune and install, dyno again and send file to Johan again. This process repeats until Johan gets the best results.
You will need to rent a dyno by the hour, arrange with Johan the time for him to help you and an appropriate Diablo tuner for your car.
