Exactly the point I was trying to make. WOT is actually "desired" for break-in, but maybe not from a dig a bunch of times nor especially if it's cold. Says so right in that quote I left that WOT is your friend!

Your computer learns. If you drive it like you want it to perform, then the computer learns your driving style and optimizes the car that little bit more.

This is my 3rd srt and I normally just cool it for 500 miles, then drive regularly.
At the track experience last year, there was a Chally with 400 miles on it that nobody seemed to worry about in regards ro "break-in"......lol

Yeah, I'm not saying take your car to the track or anything. Just saying that there is no longer a strict break-in period like days of yore. It's okay to stomp the right pedal occasionally before you hit 500 miles. Not every damn light or straight away or anything, but don't be too shy either!

Definitely looks good.
But as previously stated, I can think of other ways to burn $2500

I like that a lot. I love all the stitching. I don't know if its that different from mine to the tune of $2500. For that kindo of cash, you could have a custom shop do a help of a lot more, in whatever color you want. But, it does look really really good. That will be a good option to look for on a used one in the future! I kind of wish the stitching was blue or something to match the blue interior glow!

I got tired of the mats on the car as well and had these custom made by Lloyd mats with the white edging to match the contrast stitching.

I seen those on eBay but don't care for the old style SRT8 logo with the red. I think I'll just get some Weathertechs.

Anyone know how to clean the leather dash? Can/should you use a leather cleaner conditioner...something like meguires or something like that? I suspect that armor all or stp are not the right products.

Stay away from Armor All unless you want your interior to be as shiny as your paint.

I'd use combination clean / condition leather spray / wipes for the dash; you'll want to keep it out of the sun until dry.

I use Meguiers Gold Class Cleaning / Conditioning spray and microfiber cloths for all the leather, once a month. Spray lightly, clean first with one microfiber, then work the overspray / remainder into the leather lightly with a microfiber cloth, wipe excess off with another clean, dry microfiber. Allow a few hours to dry.

For the dash dust, I keep a microfiber in the center console and give it a wipe every few days.

Thank you!!! I was thinking along the same line. I really like the idea of the microfiber cloth in the console because I am definitely the type to give the dash a quick wipe before heading out to work in the morning.
Speaking of sun, has anyone had any issues with the leather interior after leaving the car in direct sun for 8 hour days? Where I work, there are stretches where the car will be outside in the sun for 4-6 hour for 3 days a week.
