Yes traction control. The disable switch is on the lower part of the center console

Yes I know where it is. I can try that but honestly it's in the engine. Traction Control is computer controlled to not allow the tires to slip. It does however affect engine rpms when you slam it to floor and cut back power to keep the car from losing Control. Thanks

All he said after spending a 1/2 a day with it. Is that the cylinder 1 has lifter issues and that is causing the sputter / grinding / vibration . He almost guarantees it. I've gotten in a big war with dealer. They will look at it May 23rd. NOT a big priority apparently. Keep you posted. I'm telling them to replace lifters. But no guarantee. Dealer stinks.

I have an appointment with the dealer on the 20th to look at my car after I told them the problem is more persistent. I will also keep you posted on what they think.

20th of this month? Okay. Yes definitely let me know. Mine has been more and more prevalent as well. Ask them to check your lifters. It entails them taking some things off to be able to get to them and check them. Dealer quoted me 2 to 2.5 hours of labor to check lifters. If it isn't warrantable then I owe $250 or so

12srt, This thread from the Challenger forum found the solution to a similar issue. The solution was the rubber isolator within the forward crank pulley.

Wow dude. Thanks for that forum. I chimed in on that one to see what's up. If it is indeed the underdrive or crank pulley making that noise it would make sense. They have rubber in them and if they are bad can cause vibration and noise. I would replace mine with a lightweight aluminum pulley that unorthodox makes. I put them in my old cars and they ran smoother and free up some HP. Mostly give you better throttle response which is noticeable. I would assume these guys were talking about the underdrive/crank pulley?

They were referring to the drive pulley which I think it is the same thing as the harmonic balancer. Correct me if I'm wrong.
