Tow hooks and placement hard to find!

Hello all,

I'm still having great difficulty finding tow hooks for both back and front of our 2nd Gen 300 SRT's. Also, the ideal location for the rear tow hook.
The factory front tow hooks are weak. One broke on a friend.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

I desperately need this for an event in March.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Duane

Hard to find as they never designed the car with such things in mind.

You'll have to break new ground and figure it out.

One thing I've seen on some 300 races is an opening in the front fascia with a bar welded to the front frame extension to the crash bumper behind the fascia skin.

Then a hook or ring is welded onto the protruding bar.

I have a circle on the front bumper that just pops out next to the license plate, that's where the hook would go on a '12. However, there is no nut on the frame cut out to screw the hook into on my U.S. version. I've been meaning to take off the front bumper and weld one in place as I want to put my front license plate mount there.

I suppose I'll be more motivated when I'm cited for no front plate.
