Spotted a 300S Mopar Edition

I went to the dealership today to get the M10 recall done and while I was waiting for it to be done I strolled the showroom floor to check out what the had and I spotted a new 300S Mopar Edition wasn't able to get good pics because of the lighting and the fact that I only had my phone with me but atleast I was able to get something.

It might have started life as an S, but that is officially known as the Mopar 12.

I love the Mopar shifter on that 300 and the number plate for the car is beautiful looking, at the base of the shifter on the center console.

I saw one last weekend at a dealership. It is nice but the Mopar12 package costs $9400

The sticker price on the one I saw was $51K before TT&L. At that price I would buy a 300SRT as the Mopar 12 comes with the 5.7

SRT8 is a much better buy than this. If you can spend $50k on a car then you can afford the extra amount in fuel the SRT8 takes to run. Plus the interior treatments on the SRT8 along with the body kit are worlds better than a decaled 'S'

My dealer has one also. I was thinking that the car must be a real pain to keep clean, but $9400 for the package is steep.

IIRC sticker was 45K or 50K PLUS dealer mark up! Thanks, but no thanks! I'll stick with FreebirdSRT on this one.

I also saw an SRT8 Cherokee which I was drooling over and MSRP on that sucker was 63,999 PLUS 19,999 dealer mark up!

A fully loaded JeepGC SRT is $69K. They should be ashamed of that dealer mark up...

Originally the new JeepGC SRT was going to be $55K but Sergio (head of Fiat) told them to make it $65K as he wanted the JeepGC SRT to be a bargain price for the Porsche and BMW truck owners.

Don't worry guys, in 7 months when they don't move, they will be discounted to 41-42, just like they did with the chargers. I think the package is horrible, personally. A time attack stripe? Really? Black chrome grill when nothing else is black chrome..........leave it monochromatic! LMFAO! Also, I'm not a fan of the body stripe. If they had to stripe it, I would preferred a ply on the stripes they used on the mopar charger....similar, but tweaked for the 300's lines.

Mopar, Chryco, whoever is reading this; if you need consulting, I am available on an hourly basis, half day minimum.

I hope the SRT Cherokee doesn't move because I really want to buy one! Lol! Personally, I'm not a big fan of this new 300, too much of a good thing can be a bad thing.
