X2 on the tail lights brother! The rest of the car is cool too with the SRT front facia and the interior from my Luxury Series. I agree with it being a fashion statement but you are REALLY have to love this entire package. I can see pricing on a 5.7 car somewhere around the Mopar 12 and $52,000+ is quite a lot of money.
There are TWO models being released. One is the limited edition, which one would assume would not have the leather dash from the luxury series. Then there is the luxury edition, which includes the luxury series interior, aka the dash, steering wheel and mesh grill. Both are available with either the v6 or v8, and in either rwd or awd. Therefore, the only way this thing is going over 50k is fully loaded luxury edition v8. The limited edition should be cheaper by at least 3k verses the luxury edition.
Of course, the way it is written is misleading They state "Poltrona Frau® black leather with Diesel Gray accent stitching surrounds the bespoke environment" for the limited edition. Now this is usually how the dash is described in the luxury series and as an option for the srt8. However, it could be referencing the seating. If the limited edition does have the dash, it makes absolutely no sense to have two different models. The only difference on the luxury edition would be the steering wheel, mesh grill, platinum mirrors/wheels (stupid since the titanium is part of the uniqueness of the edition), dual power seats and 'available' two tone leather seats.
To add fuel to the fire, this picture shows 'limited edition' on the signage in the background, there is no mesh grill and it had the leather dash. Additionally, they state platinum chrome mirrors and polished wheels for the luxury edition, not titanium like the limited edition. The one shown below has titanium trim, but it had the leather dash. It isn't making sense. After looking at all the facts, I think the dash may be included (at least I hope) in the limited edition also. Any clarification resume? This would be awesome for me since I wouldn't have to spring for the luxury edition to get the dash.
Side note: The concept had 22's and wore pirelli tires. The production uses 20's and wears Firestone tires. Here is a picture of it. It was, at the time, a one-off that was auctioned off for charity.

Smoove,
Thanks for clarifying that. I was rather confused myself trying to sort through the differences between the two versions.
I normally would never consider a "limited" or "special" addition of a car but I am quite interested in this one. I love the idea of classy/urban/unique interior and(I think) the Phantom black tri-coat paint on the limited edition should be really nice.
Does anyone have any idea or guess of what the limited edition will sticker for? I think I am interested in the V6 RWD but am still a little worried about paying too big a premium for it. I also wonder how hard they will be to get a hold of. Anyone have any insight?
Should I (can I?) work with a dealer to per-order one?
Will this car, with certain features or will you need to track one down that was built with those features? Or can you pre-order one with the features you are interested in? For example I am interested in a sunroof and adaptive cruise control. Do I just need to hope that I can find one Biltz with the appropriate packages to get those features? Or will none be built with feature packages?
They will make 2,000 total, which will be plenty. There will be a premium, but no idea on the specific number. As for options, I would assume there would only be minimal options, like sunroof, heated/cooled cupholders. They probably will come loaded with certain options as part of the 'edition'.
This is very 'audiesqu', which is what I told the execs a year and a half ago I wanted to see. I am in for the same engine, v6, 8 speed, 2wd.
I am trying to get clarification on two things: If both editions get the leather dash, which if going by the way it is written, yes. Second, rough pricing. The limited starts shipping first quarter of 13' and the luxury later in the year. This will realistically be at the LA Auto show where I will give it a once over and hopefully find some additional information.

Once again Freebird beats me to the post I was thinking about the vin number for the tail lights. I was going to paint mine black but this is a better alternative and I will retain the stock set in inventory.
Furthermore, I appreciate the clarification regarding the model choices for the vehicle whether it is a luxury series with the leather dash like my car. Either way I like the whole thing except for the studded shift knob. In the other photos there are other choices so hopefully there will be options for the car. Depending on price, I may consider this JV edition for my wife....V8 of course with the leather dash!
As soon as I can get a really good look at those tail lights I'm going to crack mine open and spray paint them black where need be. I already have a good idea of what needs to be black. I'm just not 100% on it. My pockets are shallow so If I can replicate the look with a simple can of spray paint then I will.
All the more power to those who can afford to purchase an entire new set. Not this poor man
I'm 100% positive that there is a chrome ring that goes all the way around the tail light and another that goes around the reverse light that are black.
What I'm unsure of is if the valleys in the tail lights are painted or if they too have some kind of "bezel" that is black.
Also, I'm 100% sure that the two vertical trim pieces that are chrome on a 300c and red on every other trim and black aswell.
If I can just get a good picture of them I'm set!
The tail lights almost have this look of a black spider web too...
