If you look closely, the outside rim is black, not chrome. I know for a fact that there is zero chrome on the tail lights. I think you're confusing the edge of the lens for a chrome time.

Random question…

I know the limited edition JV has the Phantom tri-coat paint. Is that the only color JV edition is available at?

Are there other color options for the luxury JV edition?

I read and reread the press release so I apologize if I missed something. In the press release they use words like "exclusive" with the phantom paint color related to the JV limited edition but it's unclear if by "exclusive" it is the only color available or if it's just only the JV editions that have that color as an option.

I noticed in the photos that the 300 C nameplate is color matched to the paint color rather than chrome. Would this be the case with other paint schemes if the car is available and other colors? Are there any other 300s with color matched badges?

So many questions… I can't wait until more information is released or some of the cars end up in showrooms and we can all share some knowledge.

Anyone following this thread get any more info?

I am definitely interested and gave a call into my local dealer to get the scoop on how I can get the JV limited with the options I'm interested in. I read somewhere that there are only 2000 (or was it 4000?) of these being made and I wanted to get dibs on one with all of the features I'm interested in.

I'm still waiting to hear back from the dealer.

Anyone else have any insight? I remember reading they would be available fourth quarter of this year. That's starting this month (October). Anyone have an inside scoop as to when they might roll into a showroom? I know I am definitely down for making a field trip and you can bet I'll take plenty of pictures and upload them to the forum.

hmmm so what's the difference here exactly compared to a lancia thema executive series car? the only thing i can see at the moment are the - in my eyes - very odd emblems on the seats and the trunk...

I am not sure if the detailing is any different but I think the materials are different. The designer hand-picked out the leather and the wood trim details are unique to the car. There is also a custom shift knob and dashboard details as well as a custom pearl black paint job only available on that car. Also there are unique wheels and apparently (although I am no expert) it borrows some grill and front facia elements off of the SRT8.

There hasn't been many detailed information or photos about it so everything is speculation based upon pictures at this point.

Chrysler just put up a new link with photos of the car – many of which have been seen before but if you haven't I would recommend taking a look.

I am, maybe like you, not a huge fan of having all of the branding on the seats and the – and the trunk (I'll probably take off the trunk badging) but I do really think the car looks sharp and I love the contemporary details and styling.
