I am happy overall bc I spent a little amount of money and there has to be a trade off when comparing stock to aftermarket. I would recommend to someone looking to cut costs but not the perfectionist looking for a direct -flush fitment.

That's unfortunate news. Send it back and have them send you a good one like I did.
I couldn't get mine to line up perfect either but that was my own fault for doing it all on my own and not having a second set of hands to keep things nice and even. Once the tape is on their it helps make up for the slight imperfection in shape of the spoiler.
Considering that it's supposed to be mounted with the provided hardware and foam strips I think that using their method would result in a properly lined up spoiler. I'm just speculating though.
