I did not know you can remove the 2012 3SRT exhaust tips (I thought they were attached to the pipes).

I know that the V6 and V8 (5.7 model) come with the exhaust tips like on my 300S (below), not attached to the exhuast system.

To remove the SAT antenna to paint, you need to pull down the back part of the interior head liner, to get at the bolt that holds the SAT antenna in place. Once you remove the bolt, unplug the wire harness and then remove the SAT antenna from the roof.

Other just tape off the SAT antenna and paint it while it is on the car.

Mark I hadn't seen the tips since you, chef, and I were at the powdercoater. Hate to say didn't even have time to see them at LSMF. Good news is I get to see this car in person a lot and watch its transformation.

Yes you can!!! The SRT tips come right off... they are attached with a simple pressure clamp, to the resonators, similar or exact to the ones on Challenger tips. The end of the resonator is rounded as well as the exhaust tip inlet. Together they form like a ball or Hemisphere if you will... the clamp is curved and goes over each end and has one bolt. Ask me how I know

I just got some off a 2012 and had them polished... gonna look SCHWEET on my 1st gen!!!
