Thanks for the write up and pics!! I am getting a spoiler here after Christmas and was wondering which to get, well this has made up my mind.
I just went out and found one on Ebay (Dawn Enterpires) for 199.99.
One qustion, any hints on removing the liner on the underside of the trunk?
Thanks again!!!
You can do better on the price than eBay fyi. The main parts on the trunk liner at the small plastic holders. I have a plastic tool that does a good job removing them. Looks kinda like a V on the end of a screwdriver. It took a bit of force and they pop out. Only issue was two came off so fast and flew into garage I could not find them. Lowes has replacements that I used for those two missing ones. I still have not found them, lol.

I got my DAWN wing from these guys 2011 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 Spoiler | Aftermarket Auto Accessories | Sportwing.com for $186.15 shipped to my door. Will end up saving you a few dollars, which could be used for the purchase of some installation supplies/tools.

The best advice that I can give for the trunk liner removal is to get the panel clip removal tool as it is much better suited for the job of removing the panel clips than a screwdriver is. Will set you back about $10.00

One more thing that I forgot to mention that I did was to use some Blue Loctite on the threads of the bolts that attach the wing to the trunk.

Tape vs. bolt on installation

Does anyone have pictures of this product being installed with tape? I know screws would provide the best fit, but I have a MOPAR '12 and don't want to drill holes in a limited edition car. I'd like to see the difference between the two types of installs.

This product I don't think so but others have used tape with other spoilers. This product has bolts built in and would have to cut them off. It would scare me to put this one on with tape.

Good to know! Absolutely, I would not want to cut off bolts either. Any idea which units can be used with tape?

^ Yes, if you look back to the beginning of the thread there is a link to another manufacturer who sells them on Ebay. I purchased one from them but the first one I received was in less than stellar condition, which is why I think nobody else is buying from them, and I had a replacement sent out to me which was in perfect condition and has provisions for bolts if you choose to use hardware. If not, you can simply use tape like I did and avoid using the provided hardware.

Look for more posts made by me and you will see what I mean.
