The HEMIs don't even have an MAF sensor if I'm not mistaken. All they have is Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensors. So you shouldn't have to worry about that.
hainesm,
I did get the K&N one, it is as the house and will be installed by the weekend.
i will post what I find. Was going to run it a good hard run, record the engine sound on revs and see if it seems to pull harder or rev faster. I am not sure if there will much of a "feel" in horse power, but the ability of the engine up faster is possible. I do expect a sound differance.
I know that on my Harley it was night and day when I change out the stock for a free flowing exhaust, I do understand that they are different, just saying ......

Regarding K&N and their web site rebuttal. Perhaps they have convinced you that the oil from their filter cannot cause a problem. Now how about convincing the Chrysler dealer and their techs if you have a sensor problem and want it repaied under warranty.
well the install was smooth, easy and very fast!! less than an hour.
As for the HP gain, I will say this, you may not really feel the huge impact, BUT what you will feel is that the motor breaths alot easier and when you hit the gas pedal somewhat and it sorta hesitates just a moment, almost like its trying to wait for air to get into the engine so it can downshift, well that is gone. It down shifts instantly!!! That alone is worth it to me!!! Also, the sound is really nice to hear, sounds like the motor is able to breath a bit better. It may not increase your HP much, but it does allow the engine to rev faster.
So there you go.... If you feel its worth having, the install is very very simple and fast....
Please, any questions please ask!!!!

thanks for the feedback, do you have the v6 or v8?
Don't know about the 3.6 but there is no MAF on the 5.7.

A FALASY,,from kn. they will tell you anything to get 200 plus dollars for an inferior product that is actually less efficient than almost any other air filter. since you installed the filter now your ecm will simply change what air flow you added back to what it is set and recomenended, so now you not only paid 250 bucks for that kn but you will now get to purchase a mass air flow sensor to the tune of who knows what, although you think your getting more air flow you really are simply allowing more particles into your entire system intake, injectors, engine etc, etc, however its your race car now since you did install kn filter
