2012 300S HID's?

Ive read thru many most about HID's and there seems to be a few different way to go about adding HID's to your car however whats the correct way?

Why is there no HID sticky yet?

Is there a plug and play 9012 HID kit for the headlights that are suggested?

Is there a plug and play H11HID kit for the fog lamps that are suggested?

Im looking for 6K kits for my 2012 300S AWD

Thanks

I don't think you need anything special for a harness adapter, capacitors or relays for the fogs on a 2nd generation, do you?

I am assuming those are just plug and play.

AAC has developed a HID kit for the 2nd generation. You should talk to them.

I have HID main lights but the fogs are not. Who the heck came up with that dumb idea.

So my ? Can I just replace the bulb or is it more involved?

You need a HID kit which includes the ballast and harness to convert the fogs to HID.

Like Maddog said, you need the ballast for the hid as well as the antiflicker as this is what i used to be safe. You can just change the bulb but you will have to find the temp that you want.Replacing them isnt difficult either.

I rather get the kit and do it the right way, not sure of prices or vendors to go with at this point.

That is what we are talking about. A fog light HID kit comes with what you need. I have a set in my car I installed in 2007 which is still going strong. And I use my fogs.
