New find on my 2013 300S...

So i'm still a , so don't go picking on me!

While I had the trunk open, (on this cold morning) I was wishing there was a better way to close the trunk then "touching the paint" on the top of the lid.

I look up and what do I see, a built in handle!

Lot's of features on this car shows that Chrysler was really trying to get it right.

There are MANY thoughtful touches and conveniences that were engineered into the second generation Chrysler 300. In fact, by 2008-2009 Chrysler had so many features on even the first generation 300 I almost bought one at that time thinking it had the "most bang for the buck" but because of Chrysler's financial situation I didn't.

Fast forward 2 years later and last spring (2012) when I started looking again at the HEMI 300C AWD and when I saw how improved the new second generation 300 was and the L-O-N-G list of standard features and technology it offered over any other American car in it's class I was in disbelief and immediately started searching for my dream car- for a FULLY LOADED leftover 2011 model knowing there was really no difference in 2012 models and leftover "C" models were selling NEW for $10,000+ OFF the MSRP!

In fact if you check feature for feature as an example on the Hyundai Equus web site it almost sounds like the same features and options list of a loaded 300C- but I also have AWD, Blind Spot Monitoring, Cross Traffic Detection, Remote Start to name some of the major differences (in the 300's favor)! In short for less than HALF of the price of an Equus, BMW 535 or Lexus LS460 (which was the car I almost bought before the 300C) the Chrysler blows them all away for "the most loaded car value and the most bang for the buck". I'm not saying it's a Benz, or a Beemer or Lexus but when you have a daughter getting ready to start college soon the money I saved will go along way to paying her education with NO loans.

I'm sure you all would have made the same choice if you were me (and some probably did) given similar circumstances :-)

Well said pan guy!

Mine is a company car and they wanted me to buy a Buick Lacrosse!

Just wasn't "Bad A**" enough for me.

I still marvel over all the technology they have put in this car.

I can never close the trunk just by pulling the inside handle. It will keep opining until I press on trunk from the outside.
