How can I program TPMS on my car?

My car has tire pressure monitoring system and I changed my tires recently. I do believe the shop didn’t returned each wheel to its original place.

Do I need to reprogram the car to identify each wheel? If so, how can it be done.

You don't need to re-program it. The system was built to accommodate tire rotation. Just drive it.

Sorry to raise the issue again but I don’t think the car programmed itself.
I drove the car since yesterday and just now I was checking the tire pressure so I decided to test the car system by increasing the tire pressure and I noticed the car is identifying the wrong tire.

the only other thing to do is go to a large tire outlet - they can force a reset of the car's sensors via the OBD socket, it'll only be a few $

hmmm...that's odd. That should NOT happen. The sensors in the wheel are not position specific as far as I know.

I don't know and would like to know also............

IF

Each tire sensor has it's own address AND there is a discrete sensor receiver at each wheel then it might be possible for the system to learn itself when a sensor change/move is made.

However my guess is rotating tires will still give the signal but not at the correct tire position. There must be some method of each sensor knowing it's location.

I don't know how this system does this.

A tech engineer with info has my thanks for answering the questions. ,, I dont know.
