Hey all,

Have 2013 300c, i am seeing the airbag light come on randomly. Sometimes it goes away, sometime it comes back. Lately it starts to appear while driving. I'm thinking its something with passenger seat as if sometimes someone will sit on it it goes away sometimes it doesnt. Not sure exactly, is there any type of wire or sensor on the passenger seat that may be loose? attached is the picture of the light.

thanks for any help.

Same thing happens to me , randomly occurs and then goes away. I've looked into it and it's a issue with the passenger airbag, it's a Recall on our cars but Chrysler is still in the process of coming up with the solution . If you havnt got anything in the mail you can search up your vin # on the mopar recall website .

I have the same problem with 2016 model. Service airbag and seat belt warning lights on.
Chrysler replaced drivers seat belt holder all good. 3 days later no airbag light, but now seat belt light.
Dealer told me faulty new seat belt so re-ordered new one, that was last week.
Still waiting for call from dealer..

Happed to me also. It was the electrical connection under the passenger seat for me. I unpluged it sprayed it with contact cleaner and plugged it back in no light been 3 months now. I guess it was from moving the passanger back and forth.
thats exactly when my light started appearing, during vacuum the car i moved the seat all the way up after that this light started to appear.

Do you have a picture possibly of the connector i need to check?

I know this is an old thread, but I hope this comment will be helpful to anyone who still checks this thread. I got the same problem on my Chrysler; the airbag light came on then I did some diagnosing by myself. I spend much time diagnosing but still can't find the problem. Then I saw this good article on the YOUCANIC page, which it shows how to diagnose and troubleshoot Airbag Light On Chrysler. It was very helpful to me, and It took me just a few hours to fix the airbag problem. I just knew that my occupancy passenger sensor wirings are already torn. So thankful I saw the YOUCANIC Chrysler Airbag Light article.
