I am not finding anything TSB for 2012

2011 only has 8 tsb's all 08 and 31 prefix none related to headlights just for basic body frame service, wheel and radio TSB's

Two recalls related to ABS and Tire pressure monitors but those show up for 2010/2011 production runs

And wow my pricelist for a single adaptive headlight assembly is $1,843.00 per side..... I guess I will let them install the dust covers and it does not show a dust cover part number. FYI Just looking at this car and it's parts very glad I got extended 100,000 bumper to bumper the alternator alone would near bankrupt a week's paycheck .

Add me to the list of dustcover recipients....they still fog up...as do the rear lenses. It not horrible...but noticeable.

Had my covers replaced at the dealer a couple days ago. It's pretty dry here, so I won't be able to tell if it's a problem until winter. The fix was not easy to find in the computer either. The dealer had to search around in the headlamp assembly stuff before they could find it. I was never officially published as a TSB to my knowledge.

My dealership had no problem finding the tsb, i only had to wait for the parts to come in. I have no idea what they look like.

But I haven't had an issue since.

So you can get just the covers from the dealership? ive been looking forever and i cant find a part number. i hacked mine all up when i installed my hids. Does anyone know if the hid afs headlights are plug and play with the halogen headlights?

I'd like to know how to get a copy of the TSB as well. Bought a new 2012 300C this past week and noticed the condensation in both headlights when I got back home the very first night. It has showed up every night since when it gets colder. I took it by the dealer yesterday morning and no one gave any indication of ever having heard of this problem. Uh-oh.

dealers answer- my solution so far

Called the dealer about the dust protectors. Since i am an hour away i asked them to ship them to me. Service manager said it MUST be done by them. Could someone take a picture of these so I can see why this is supposed to be so complicated?

Someone here mentioned putting lube on the gasket of the access ports. i did this to both large and small rubber rings on both sides and then used a blow dryer to remove the condensation. I used swimming pool filter gasket lube. ( Jacks 327 mult-lube) So far its been still fogging but no water droplets. The fogging drys quickly on its own. I will keep you all posted.

I have been watching mine very closely for fogging/condensation with daytime temps now around 45-60 and night time around 32 even when the car has not even been driven for a few days, right around temp transition ranging from 40's down to 30's I see slight fogging near the orange marker LED's and it seems to do it more while washing it but is always gone by the next morning.
If I had water droplets in mine I would be seeing the dealer pretty sternly.

I have had my car for 14 months now. I had the condensation issue the first few weeks of ownership. Only during a snowstorm will the headlamps have slight condensation after it is parked. It is gone by the next day.

I was wondering, does everyone use their DRL's ? I have mine set to off and it seems that every other 300 I pass has them on.

Maybe I don't have the condensation issue because I have them off ?

Just a variable here that I thought I would introduce, although it should not matter.
