I just went to pick up my brand new 300 after having replaced the headlights with brand new ones, and to my dismay, the condensation exists inside of these brand new headlights as well.
This is getting frustrating and I was advised that in order to get the best bang for my complaint buck, to call Chrysler and request possibly for the upgraded smart beam headlights.
It was my idea to throw in the upgrade for my trouble as they will have to order another new set of headlights for me now.
I am annoyed to say the least

Good luck getting the smart beams, that's a nice idea but they would have to do a lot more than just swap out the headlight units to get those new features to work, so I doubt they will want to do that and potentially create more problems when they are only responsible for one issue. Especially when the smart beam headlights themselves are also allowing condensation to form.

Here is the headlight after brand new ones were just put in. I was told by the service manager at my dealership to "wait a week" and see if the condensation goes away, then they will replace them again.
Aaarrrgghhh!

I'm going on a month now with this annoying condensation problem that will not go away no matter what I do! Its so annoying people comment on it all the time... "Hey nice car! What up with the headlights!" Its that noticeable!

I took my car to the dealer for service a month ago and I'm still waiting for the dust shields...I'm figuring there must be a long line for them...

After taking my 300 to the dealer, they offered to order a new headlamp after seeing the condensation. That was about a month ago. Since then, I've become a little more educated on the issue, and realized that I probably don't want someone tearing apart my 2012 300S for the first time to replace a light with another light that will have the same problem. Corporate ended up calling me about this issue when I sent them some feedback on this, and they also indicated they are aware of the issue, and that the dust cover fix is out. I've heard enough issues on this site about headlamp installs getting jacked up that I have no desire to ever put my car under the knife unless absolutely necessary.
Due to the dry weather of late, I have no experienced problems. I will order the dust covers when I get back into the area.

Just as a FYI, my 2011 Ford Edge manual says that the condensation can come and is normal. But I've never seen it so far.

How would that solve the problem?
I'm going into Chrysler again Thursday to get another new set of headlamps.

Sounds like Ford wanted to drop in a cheap fix in instead of evaluating why their design might be flawed
