My new shoes - 3 piece forged AZA 22's

Hey guy's just figured I would share with you guys. I was originally going to do some chrome Viper 22's, but found this deal that I COULDN'T pass up. I got these rims super cheap, they need 2 new tires and come winter (well next winter) im sending them to a friend that owns a forged wheel company to re-chrome all the lips. They are AZA forged 3 piece wheels with a black center and chrome lips. The tires are 265/35's. Im going to get the new tires and get them on asap, then get some coilovers for it. Anyway here are a few pix.

The car they are going on

And the wheels

What do you guys think?

Where'd you hear that? I've had several sets of 3 piece forged wheels over the years and never had a single issue. I was hoping to get these on ASAP, but ill be super busy the next week or so. I'm hoping within the next 2 weeks I can get some new tires and get these on.

Weird, that's something new for me. I mean I can see how they could come apart, but again never had an issue with any of mine. On my Z in my sig those are 3 piece True Forged wheels, have had them for about 3 years or so.

Lol, anyway for what I paid for the wheels it was a no brainer. I only paid $480 for all 4 rims and 2 new tires. Of course to make them perfect, I'll put another $6-700 into them but even then, it's a steal for forged 22's.

No worries, I didn't take it the wrong way. Once I replace the 2 tires, ill put them on and get some pix. It may be a couple weeks though. Normally I wouldn't be able to sleep until I got them on but with my work schedule, online business etc it doesn't look like its going to be right away. Trust me I'm dying to get them on, I think it's going to look great.

Regarding what Sodak is referring to, I don't know if it is as much keeping them bolted together as it is sometimes a problem with them leaking air. I know a few people that have had that issue and it's a PIA to take them apart and reseal them. I also know of MANY others with 3 piece wheels and have never had an issue. It's just something to be aware of.
