Cool Ticking noise

Ok, bought the car and it was Quiet under the hood. after about 25000 miles it started to tick like the Injectors do. noticed that it was getting louder and started to complain to the dealer, no satisfaction. recently took to another friend at a dealer who said he could hear the number 7 cylinder louder than the rest and out the exhaust as well. took it to my normal dealer who noticed the skip when engine is running( you know that old muscle car rumble) and the RPM gauge also confirmed it going up and down about 50 to 100 RPM. the put it on the scanner and nothing wrong. Chrysler will not let them go into the motor unless the scanner picks up something. I guess I didn't know that a computer would pick up a veriation in idle. Anyone have any sugestions and/or what it might be and how to resolve it. thanks
