Thanks for the tips guys. I looked at the car again this morning. They also drove it into another car (or drove another car into it?). The front bumper is all scuffed and has two big scratches that go all the way through the paint. I know they did it because I washed the car before we left for the party and it didn't have a flaw.

I'm the guy who makes his wife walk from the far end of every parking lot -- just so I can assure there are no dings when I come out of wherever we are. Handing the keys to the valet was painful to do... and my first new car in ten years isn't perfect any more. I'm still waiting for the owner to call me... but they'll just say I should have inspected the car (In the dark?!!!)

I have an appointment with my body shop. I'm going to replace the wheel, repaint the bumper (and replace the scratched chrome strips), and move on from this lesson. I'll check out Pico wheel to refinish the wheel as a backup... they are about 10 minutes from me. At least I'll have a full sized spare.

NEVER EVER LET A VALET TOUCH YOUR CAR!!!
