If you're not interested in video, another solution is the Harmon Kardon Drive+Play. I used the Pac Audio AAI-CHY to get the aux inputs and then connected the Drive+Play unit to that. The ipod goes in the glovebox and I control it through the HK control knob. The display gives me the same info as my ipod. It also charges the ipod while it's plugged in.
I would have prefered steering wheel control and song info displayed on the nav screen but there's nothing out there right now.
