Since you don't say what type of "trim" parts I will offer the safest solution-
Go to your local craft store like Michael's, JoAnn's, Ben Franklin, or Hobby Lobby, depending on where you live, and get "Un-du" Adhesive Remover.

It is extremely effective, yet safe enought to use on photographs or fabric.
Use a microfiber towel to apply - let the product do the work, not brute strength, to avoid scratching any surfaces.

You can do a search and find my previous post, or check online for a pic of the bottle with yellow/red label...
