Your idea is a good one, but better yet, just do not do business with ANYONE that requires you to
wire money... period! This was pretty much hashed and re-hashed in the aforementioned thread. I guarantee that any company doing business out of state and/or on the internet that does not accept credit cards is NOT legitimate!!
