True, contrary to popular misconception bigger is not always better, and in some cases if the system is not designed and tuned for larger pipes the result may be worse performance. Hotter gasses flow better, larger diameter pipes may result in the gasses being cooled more and therefore harder to push out.

I don't think any engineering efforts went into the Zoomers or they would have stayed with 2.75". They are selling "noise", with no concerns at all for proper system tuning or performance. Proof of the "backyard engineering" is in the number of drone complaints. A very poor choice in my opinion.

I couldn't count the number of posts I have seen from people installing Zoomers and then immediately selling them due to either poor performance or the dreaded drone. Supposedly Zoomers was going to come out with a redesigned system to reduce the drone, but what about all the people that bought their original product? Even if the drone has been eliminated I wouldn't trust that the system would be properly balanced. Mopar/Corsa was designed with the help of the SRT engineers. IMO this is the ONLY way to go.
