Passenger Air Bag light comes on

Hi Guys,

I know this has been discussed before and I have read the previous threads. But, I have a weird problem with my passenger air bag light. In the morning or after the car has sat for awhile (7 hours plus) and its cold outside 40 degrees or below(the cabin is cold), I start the car and the passenger air bag light along with the red dash light are on. The lights stay on until the car is shut off and restarted again in conjunction with having a warm cabin. If I do not turn the heat on and the cabin stays cold, the light will not reset and remain on. Every morning, I start the car and the light is on again. I had this problem earlier in the winter and the dealer replaced the whole module (they said the sensor would not zero out). The problem went away for about 4 months and now is back. Anyone else in a cold weather climate have this problem? I wonder if it just has to be re-calibrated or if I got two bad modules. I wonder if the cold is causing a problem with the sensor and it cannot get a good reading until the cabin heats up? I'll be bringing it in to the dealer in a couple of weeks. I've just started a new job and cannot take the time off now. Anyone else seeing this?
