I need to get this done before we all go to Fort Worth for the SRT Track Experience. I can not handle the 80mph shake any longer and my front tires are worn down enough, as they are.
I am looking for a competent place that will take care of my car.
Has anyone had any luck with the dealer doing a re-alignment?
(I am on the NE side of town...Kingwood)
Thanks!!

I took mine to Allen Samuels Dodge on the Katy Fwy because they are convenient to me, and they did a good job(I think). I had it at a Gooodyear Tire and they adjusted toe-in but said they were unable to get the caster to spec. I think unless you know someone who is very knowledgable and you can trust you should probably take it to you preferred dealer. I was having the 80mph shake, and my front tires were badly cupped on the outer edge. I wanted to replace the rears(which were slick), align it and rebalance the fronts and continue to run them because they still had good tread depth. Could not get rid of the 80mph shake, so I went ahead and replaced the fronts with F1 255's so I can rotate. Remains to be seen if the alignment will prevent the cupping on the fronts, but the new tires eliminated the shake. With the number of people who are reporting this problem this may be something that will occur to some extent no matter what the alignment. The ability to rotate will allow us to prolong the tire life and delay onset of "the shake". If anyone finds a definitive solution I would love to know about it.
