RULES STUFF:

-Please make sure the little people know NOT to touch the cars
-Please be cautious with cameras, handbags, etc. when walking between cars

-Please be considerate and respectful of our hosts:
...NO speeding or burnouts as you enter or leave the area
...NO cruising or coming & going after you're parked
...NO sound-offs... if you demo your stereo, please make it brief and a reasonable volume
...NO pets
...NO alcohol

The windshield placard identifies your car, so members can find you, and details any mods you may have done so members can hound you! There will be everything from stock to startling and it's all about showing up as much as it is showing off!

Download and save the file - click the link for the format you wish to use...
  • .pdf to print and complete by hand
  • .xls to complete on the 'puter for a printout
-Please complete the placard prior to arrival:
If you forget your placard, let us know when you're at the registration table

-What To Pack:
  • CAMERA
  • 2-way radios
  • water, sodas, ice chest
  • chairs
  • sunscreen
  • jackets
  • umbrella
  • hand sanitizer
  • litter bag
  • tape for your windshield placard
  • notebook w/pencil for mod details you may wish to record
  • address book for info about the new old friends you're finally meeting
  • stuff for the kids to play with in case they get bored (no skateboards or bicycles please)
-Parking:
You will only be allowed to enter through the WEST driveway-
A Volunteer will stop you to check for registration before you can proceed. This is the person to notify about special needs parking so he can radio ahead.

Once registration is confirmed, you will be guided to parking-
To prevent chaos, you MUST park where you are assigned and there will be no saving of spaces. If you wish to park with friends, you will need to arrive together!

Once parked, you will not be able to leave and re-enter & no cruising on the lot.

Please watch for children!

-Immediately after you have parked:
PLEASE
help us finish registration timely - we have a wedding to attend!!!
...Proceed directly to the registration tent to sign in and receive your registration packet
...Place your windshield placard on the passenger side windshield

FRIDAY NIGHT KICK-OFF:


MEET & GREET IN THE LOUNGE: All Day Until Closing

The DCX crew may very well be spotted here... can you pick them out in the crowd? If you don't have a badge from last year, stop at the Front Desk and ask for a 'My Name Is' sticker for Spring Festival. Put your Username & First Name on it so we know who you are, then wander in and set a spell - somebody will be there!

Most of us plan on dinner at the Hotel - We will
have done enough driving and have a big day ahead of us so we're staying close and taking advantage of the hospitality of the Doubletree. Volunteers who have not had dinner prior to the Meeting can break off in groups to cover each other.

VOLUNTEER'S
Event Prep Activities in the Vintage C BANQUET ROOM:
open 3:00 pm - Must be cleared out by 10:00 pm

We need ALL the help we can get!! Thank you in advance
Even if you didn't volunteer officially, you're invited to stop in, visit, and lend a hand for awhile... every little bit helps

  • Badge & List Organization
  • Parking & Security Plans
  • Goody Bag Assembly
  • Wedding Decorations
VOLUNTEER'S Meeting & Field Trip w/ON-SITE WALK-THRU:
7:30pm - 8:30 pm approx.

ALL SATURDAY Volunteers are urged to attend!!
Meet us in the Vintage "C" banquet room at 7:30
  • Help load goody bags, registration stuff and wedding stuff into volunteer's cars for morning delivery
  • Help clear out the banquet room
  • 8:00pm - Approx 30 min: Discuss Saturday Parking & Registration Strategies, Distribute Lists, Badges, etc.
  • 8:30pm - Approx 30 min: Field Trip to the DCX Lot to familiarize everyone with the parking layout and their section responsibilities
  • ... And finally, back to the Lounge for those who dare!

  • We ARE doing a drawing this year! Here's the deal...
    • DaimlerChrysler is producing a questionnaire, which will be in your goody bag. Your completed questionnaire must be returned to the registration tent BY 1pm
    • You will receive a drawing ticket to deposit in return
    • Drawing Time 3:30pm - MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!
    • Prizes include special items provided by DaimlerChrysler & gift certificates from forum supporting vendors
