Looking up VIN’s for the rotor/tranny TSB's is absolute BS! Instead they should be saying hell yes come on in! Your buddy only has 8k miles and rotors that are scored? No way should they be turning him down. The only time we’ve had reports of dealerships refusing the rotor TSB is because of mileage….not because a VIN didn’t qualify it.
As for the transmission TSB that's even more BS. The 2007's came with it fixed, but the TSB is specifically for the 05's and 06's......there have been no denials because of VIN or mileage. Sounds like a new dealership needs to be found. Ridiculous.
There should absolutely be no trouble with any of this being done by a responsible and worthy dealership......definitely dealership BS!!
