The entire wheel would need to be refinished, entirely sanded and polished. Then it could be chromed. It would definetely not be worth doing. You would be better off just getting new wheels if you wanted to change them out. You can always sell the powder coat wheels to recoup some money at a later date on a new wheel purchase, you wouldn't be the first to do that.

OK so taking off the P. C. is a bad idea. Is there diff. kinds of powder coating you can do. Can you shoot a clearcoat over the p.c. or does it come in a shine. How durable is this stuff. Will a high pressure car wash destroy the finish?
