No you don’t need to get stage one before two. Most people are getting a spare ecu because of their warranties; most dealers would give you a hard time with your warranty if they knew you had B&G.

PS. I don't mean to hijack your thread but I want to ask a question:
Has anyone had any problems with the dealers noticing any inconsistencies between the info stored on your OEM ecu and the car?? For example, having the spare ecu in with the b&g software you are not logging your mileage on the OEM ecu, so when you swap it back in and go to the dealership has anyone had them bring up why the two #'s are different?
