you can fit a really wide tire on a really narrow rim but that doesnt mean it is suppose to be that way

it will cause the tire to wear unevenly over time due to the tire not being stretched as it was intended - a 295/40/20 is optimal for a 10" wide rim - fits perfect on there as I have done this on a truck before - im sure its perfectly safe and feels good but as I said the tires will more than likely last less time than if they were on a 10" rim - enough rambling lol
