I'm not convinced that's safe. I'd be concerned the tires would squirm under hard cornering, and I wonder if they couldn't be made to unseat under either severe cornering, or just a harsh pothole.
Anyway - I hope they work out.
I just got the Toyo Proxes 4's installed on mine this morning. 245 45R20 on the front, 275 40R20 on the back.
Final note: Contact patch does not get any larger with wider tires. It simply gets wider side-to-side, but shorter front-to-back. Total contact square inches is purely a factor of pounds of weight on the tire divided by psi in the tire.
