turbo, I live right up Kanan from Malibu, and the only place that PCH really gets away from the ocean is at Point Dume, and that's only for a few miles, after that it's PCH, beach, ocean right next to each other. Take a look:

I think what Brian and I are saying is that we'd love to join up with you guys, but not if we're always looking at driving down to HB for each one. I'm sure I can find a good route through some of the roads closer to us, especially through the hills. I know Kanan is always a fun drive for me. And there's a particular wayside that I know would be spectacular for photos.
We just want this to be easy for everyone, if not always, at least sometimes.
