Having HID headlights will also help alot in the fog. Since the beam pattern on these lights has a sharp cutoff on top it keeps the light from reflecting and obscuring your vision. I live in an area that can get very foggy and HID's are the best. Sure fog lamps are okay but I've never found them very effective. In California it's illegal to drive with headlights off and flog lights on. May be true in other states since the factory fogs only work with the headlights.
