Just put a 1" spacer between cross bracket and X pipe.
Than torque all you clamps!
Remove spacer and you will have no problems !
Also make sure your drain holes are pointed down on tunnel mufflers! If not you will get a water build up problem.

If you are about to install any exhaust, you might want to check your clearance between the X-pipe and that brace. There is plenty of thread on the bolt to add some washers to each side to give the pipe plenty of space between it and the brace.
Here's a pic, from the back, showing the pipe and brace before the washers were inserted just so you can visualize what I am saying:
You'll notice there isn't much space here at all without the washers. It was fine the first day or so, then it became evident I had a clearance problem.
So, watch for this when doing your exhaust installs. |
