Tower brace?

Hey Guys and Gals, (if any)

Can someone school me on the diffrence between sway bars and tower brace(strut)?

I'm looking a the DCsport tower brace for my 06 CSRT8?

can I please get the pros and cons from you all there in the 300c world!
