Uconnect Connection Problem

When i tried to pair my new Blackberry Pearl to the U Connect, I kept getting a message on my phone saying UConnect Connection Established. Immediately after it says UConnect Lost connection.
It keeps doing this over and over and i can't use it at all.
Any info on this?
