Does this problem happen to you guys?

So a bit ago I went to fill her up with some 91 like I always have fow awhile now. I filled it up and as I was driving away the car wanted to die. My rpms and oil pressure dropped. I pulled over because it eventually died. It wouldnt turn on only a couple times did it turn on but died right after that. Eventually I got it to work normal after a few hard revs. This is the second time its happened. Anybody know what the H*** is wrong?

Sounds like car was overfilled and some got into the evap can. Only fill till pump click off. Don't try to "top off"

A cannister that collects vapors during filling. These are normally put back into play by way of the purge solenoid. It can happen just during the filling process. Another thing could have been a loos gas cap. DO you have any codes?

Also, make sure that your gas cap fully seals (twist until it clicks) and you might be needing to replace it if it doesn't fully seal.

A lot of times this issue comes up after a fuel stop because the cap isn't tight.

Clicking is one thing and it will click even though the seal has failed.

Make sure you didn' t get bad gas trash and water will have the same effect.

The car is designed to run 89,, no real advantage of 91 but you should have no issues if you want to use 91. Sounds like you should buy your gas somewhere else.
