Very nice! I love my AFE2 also. What you need to do next is remove the lower air baffle on the driver's side to allow more ambient air to be sucked into that intake. Since you aren't pulling air from the engine bay, the car starves a little bit with the heat shield in place. You will feel a nice little boost once that baffle is gone.

What kind of modding did you do to get the hood to close easier? I think this has been an issue for everybody with this intake which causes the infamous hood rubbing spot on the tube curve.
