As many of you may already know, Jeremy is half-owner of a company called Creative Induction Systems also known as CIS. For those of you that are not familiar with CIS, here is some info about them.
"My name is Tim Tackett, also known on the various forums as Mr MoPar. I am the founder and General Partner in Creative Induction Systems Ltd., for simplicities sake, “CIS” works just fine. CIS is an Ohio based company, obviously right here in the good ole USA!
So who am I? I have been a hardcore Mopar junkie for decades. I can’t even begin to count how many Mopars I have owned, including my fair share of big block Road Runners, Super Bee’s, Coronet’s and Satellite’s. Right now, I have a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire, a 2005 Rumblebee, and a 2006 300C. I have also built my fair share of high output engines as well.
In 1998 and 1999, I owned the “Miss Cigarette” Offshore Powerboat Race Team. Based on a classic 1979 Cigarette 28SS with twin 383 Chevy small block stroker motors pushing about 600 HP each. Both years I was the APBA Central Division Champion in our class, Rookie team of the year in 1998, and Driver of the year in 1999. That year we went to the APBA Offshore World Championships in St. Petersburg Florida, and finished runner up in our class. If not for a single defective Champion spark plug, we would have been the Champions that year (but that’s racing!)
My racing career was ended abruptly in the spring of 2000 just before the first race when I was diagnosed with MS. There was no way to tolerate the heat, fatigue, and the pounding the body takes when running in 4’ to 5’ chop at 80+ mph for more than an hour. Oh well, it’s not terminal, and I did what I wanted to do for two years anyway and have fond memories of it.
In the late summer of that year, I started North Coast Offroad, and was the sole US importer of a product for a Canadian based company. We quickly established a strong loyal customer base due to our fair prices and superior customer service. Experiences that now carry over in how CIS will be formulated and operated. But due to the miserable US/Canadian exchange rate, I made the difficult decision early this year to close the business.
That cleared the way to move on and form CIS. CIS consist of me and my business partner Jeremy Steinman aka, XCITSNU and Power Ported Performance.
The Turbo is good for up to 600+ HP, and we are offering staged kits at different price points and equipment levels. We are also working in conjunction with a major manufacturer of aftermarket engine performance products that will allow the really hardcore HP fanatic to basically only be limited by his or her wallet.
The system will be available for all three LX variants. As I mentioned, I am hardcore Mopar, so as soon as this one is in production, we will spin right around to the LX V6 and AWD applications, and then spread through the entire DCX lineup covering every application we can to finally make some affordable HP available to our fellow Mopar owners!
So for now, I will simply say “Hi”, and invite everyone to stay tuned to our area as we post up additional information.
Tim Tackett – Creative Induction Systems Ltd"
Well, during the next four days, I will spending night and day at the CIS production facility to better understand the turbos we are now offering to the lx community. During this period, I will be updating this thread with news, updates, photos, and any incriminating eveidence I can find on Tim. lol. I hope to answer any and all questions that may arise during this period and have a complete knowledge of this system. Please feel free to ask as many questions as possible and comment all you want.
