The standard power figure of 160 kw goes up to approximately 198kw, and torque increases from 510 Nm up to 580 Nm!

This is achieved by modifying only the fuel injection parameters & timing. The turbo boost pressure is not influenced.
Our performance module reads information from the ECU, such as RPM, speed, throttle position, and adjusts the fueling parameters accordingly, to give you optimum power, economy and drivability.

On the road, the increased power and torque can be felt right through the engines rev range.The engines response is smooth and immediate, with no misfire or sudden unexpected surges of power.
Fuel consumption remains virtually the same in most driving conditions, and in some cases fuel economy can even be improved.

With its original equipment plugs, the module is quick and easy to connect, requires no cutting or modifying of the existing wiring loom, thus avoiding irreversible alterations.
And it is just as quick to remove, without leaving any trace of it having been fitted. [Especially prior to dealer servicing]

We also carry a range of VDO gauges to help you monitor the performance of your 300C-CRD, such as turbo boost gauges and exhaust gas temperature [EGT] gauges, and a full range of fittings, line kits and other accessories.

An EGT gauge is highly recommended for diesel engines as it is the single most important indicator of how a diesel engine is performing.

Unlike a petrol engine, a diesel engine will continue to make power as more fuel is added. As more fuel is added, more heat will be generated until the motor just gets too hot and things start to melt and naturally this is a situation to avoid. Exhaust gas temperature is the ideal measurement of how hot the motor is, since temperature fluctuations in the gas are almost instantaneous.

You should seriously consider using an EGT gauge even if you make no performance upgrades, since EGT is such an important indicator of engine load, and is especially important when the engine is working hard, such as when you are towing.

An EGT gauge kit, including thermocouple, wiring loom & fittings at special forum pricing is $258.97
