that's a HUGE difference, and a little hard to believe.
Unfortunately, without getting into damaging EGT's, you would be unlikely to get much more out of the SRT8 as far as HP. We already easily exceed the rated HP under ideal conditions. A significant reduction of torque management would produce a lot of gains in our cars, but may expose the drivetrain's weaknesses. I'm hoping that Diablo can help us with some creative tuning, but we all need more results from real world buyers first!
A torque converter would be a huge benefit to a stocker with little reduction in utility or reliability. Since we already have a trans cooler and a very reliable trans design, this should be a safe mod. Our power curve screams for this.
