Preview of my write-up (without pictures)... The capacitor connects to the OEM power plug, but reversed unless you rewire the cap. connector (reversed, i.e., so the security clip of the OEM connector and pin on the cap. connector are on opposite sides). Then the other cap. power connector goes to its mate on the ballast. The output of the ballast is hardwired directly to the ignitor and then the two output wires of the ignitor connects to the two wires of the bulb via male/female keyed plugs.
Very simple. Nearly impossible to mess up... UNLESS you forget to reverse the initial power connection. In that case the lights don't light at all... not even a flicker.
Now here's a night comparison of the Magnum's Stealth Auto 6000k HIDs with the Heritage Editions OEM HID (not sure what their color is, but it must be a little under 6000k - my guess).

The H.E. projector bulb has a very well defined mask line (somewhat expected from a projector lens I suppose), whereas the non-projector Magnum headlamp's have a fuzzier upper cut-off. It seems apparent from these images that I may have to play with the aim of the Magnum assemblies (if I can, other than up/down) to minimize the separation between the bright spots although in driving at night there is no noticeable dim area on the roadway.
Both HIDs are SO MUCH BRIGHTER and whiter than OEM halogen bulbs! Yet nobody, so far, as flashed their lights at me indicating that I was blinding them. SO I don't hesitate to say I am VERY pleased with how this mod turned out.
The viewing distance with low beam is greatly improved without hazard to on-coming drivers as far as I can tell. The color simply is white with only a very slight twinge of blue (I suppose)... much like the Heritage Editoin bulbs and I've had those since it came last March. Never a problem with drivers or police.
Just like with the Heritage Edition, the high beams help extend vision further and broader, but you can tell there's a color difference. I'd say, although the Stealth bulbs might be a little brighter, the Mag's high beams seem to be a better intensity match than those on the H.E. But the difference (if any) is only slight.
But... I dont' have any pictures... yet... to illustrate this... could be kind of difficult, but I've got a good local road... just won't be able to use flash, etc. We'll see how it works in the next couple of days, er... nights.
