Hope this helps, I would recommend a little weight in the trunk (I am going to add about 80-100pds this winter), snow tires are the only option imo for Canadian winters.

Mine are 255 wide and worked great in all snow conditions.

Believe it or not, narrower tires are more suitable in snow.
